Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a 2004 feature film directed by Michel Gondry, and written by Charlie Kaufman. Joel discovers his ex-girlfriend, Clementine, erases him from her memory. He decides to have the same procedure, but as his memories of Clementine are slowly erased, Joel discovers that perhaps he made a mistake. Winner of an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
